Are you ready to tap into your inner intuition and connect with the universe? Look no further than oracle cards! As a self-proclaimed card slinger, I’ve tried and tested many decks and I’m here to share my favorites and how I use them to manifest my desires and guide my journey.

Whether you’re a crystal wearing, sage lighting, oracle card flipping goddess or a spiritual skeptic – this post has something for you. You don’t have to “believe” in it to see if it will work, so why not just have fun with it.

Grab a cup of tea, light some candles, and get ready to dive into the mystical world of oracle cards with me.

Let’s start with my favorite decks and then I’ll tell you how I use them – and trust me, ANYONE can use them.

My favorite card deck of all time – Angels and Ancestors Oracle Cards

I have had this deck for years and it is the one I reach for the most. The artwork is just absolutely stunning and I always feel like I am guided to the clearest answers with this deck. I think part of playing with the cards is really connecting with the cards and this is definitely the deck I feel the most connected with. If I had a soulmate deck – this would be it.

A large deck that’s great for beginners – Spirit Animal Oracle Deck

I love to give this one to all of my friends. It’s a big deck and is pretty easy and fun to understand and play around with. It’s like dipping your toes into the spiritual realm. The artwork on these cards is also just stunning and who doesn’t like to play with pretty things?

Lovers of the moon, you’ll want this deck – Moonology Oracle Cards

I’m kind of obsessed with the moon, partly because I’m a pisces and we tend to be very emotional beings – and who rules emotions? The moon. But also, as women our cycles are often synced up to the moon so I just find this beautiful connection with that big, illuminating thing in the sky. This deck is very straightforward and is great for a really quick reading where you need some quick guidance.

One of the original and oldest decks – Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards

This deck has been around forever and is also great for beginners. It is pretty to the point and gives you some exact interpretations to the cards that you pick out of the deck, making it easy to digest and understand.

How Do I Use My Cards

Something, to keep in mind: Connecting with Spirit, God, Angels, Universe (whatever you prefer to call it) is a deeply personal and intimate experience and there is no right or wrong way to use cards as a modality for connection. I will share how I typically use these cards but please do what feels right and guided for you.

Using the cards helps us to understand our own intuition more and helps us trust our own bodies and minds so that we can more deeply connect with our souls.

My personal methods:

  1. The simplest and easiest way I use my cards is to shuffle them, fan them out, ask my questions and then guide my hand over the cards back and forth until I feel a feeling that it’s time to reach down and grab one. For me, this feeling is usually a little heat in the palm of my hand. Once I feel that, I put my hand down and grab the card underneath it. I typically do a three card pull, but you can just keep it to one or two if you’d like. I just really feel aligned with three.
  2. I will do a guided card pull that is a specific question/card placement. You can find these instructions in the front of the guidebooks (that come with the deck) or you can find them online in blogs, on pinterest or google searches. I often do these around birthdays, life changes or anything that is a big event in my life.
  3. As a daily morning practice, I will often just wake up, do my meditation and then pull one card for the day. I will ask “what do I need to hear today” and then just pull one card for my daily message. This often just gives me a focus for the day or re-affirm something that maybe I was stressing about. If the message is unclear to me then I will often try to flush it out in my morning journaling practice until I start to understand it more.

Working with oracle cards takes some practice and consistency so don’t give up if you feel like you’re not getting an answer or guidance right away. You are, but just haven’t built up that connection yet to really be able to understand what your intuition is trying to tell you.

Trust yourself, the cards are simply a modality to help reveal what you already know. Have fun with them, enjoy them and always thank you spirit guides for assisting you, protecting you and surrounding you.

And there you have it, my dear fierce and fabulous readers! These are my absolute favorite oracle card decks that have helped me tap into my intuition and find clarity and guidance in my life. Whether you’re a seasoned oracle card user or a newbie, I hope this post has inspired you to dive deeper into the magical world of divination. Remember, trust your intuition, follow your heart, and always stay fabulously fierce!
